The !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! looks pretty familiar.
They’ve been making these ads for their lowriders for a while now. !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! was in the same style as classic VW ads, but those are obviously two very different vehicles. Recently, though, they seem to be mimicking real ad campaigns even more closely. When I saw the one for the Vapid Minivan, I read it in Edward Herrmann’s voice.
You might notice that this latest one for the Sabre uses quite a different font than the Oldsmobile one does. That font or ones like it were common in other car ads in the early ‘70s, including
!!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!!
and Chrysler ads and

, a car which

the Sabre also gets inspiration from.

I’ve suddenly realized Rockstar is the best.
Also, may be the font, but do the old Caravan ads remind anyone else of 90s Apple print ads?
Perhaps they used the same ad agency or something.

How is GTA online these days? I haven’t played since my PS3's wifi started to shit the bed right after heists were launched. I feel like I've missed a lot.

It could be the same ad agency, or it could just be the trend at the time. Honda also used the same or similar font on a white background for many years. If you search for “car ad” or just “magazine ad” and any given year, you’ll notice lots of similarities in font, colours, and layouts.

There’s so much stuff that they’ve added, it’s almost too much. Yachts, VIPs, lowriders, and a shit-ton of new “events”, jobs and job types such as adversary modes and freemode events. There’s so much going on that it’s overwhelming. I’ve been playing off-and-on since day one across Ps3, Ps4, and PC, and even I feel like I’ve missed a lot.

I noticed the Donk-VW connection, but damn, I didn’t know they’ve been doing it for other ones as well. Rockstar just went up a notch in my books.

I’m saying this because I know for certain Apple’s ad agency did do car ads in the 90s, probably most notably a TV ad for the 240SX.
Which, also, has major 90s Apple vibes.
Same voiceover and everything.

You won’t have enough cash for the interesting stuff without major grinding or spending real money.

I had some suspicions after I saw the Minivan ad.
I spent this past weekend grinding for a stilt house and acquiring a couple of Sentinel XSs, so I have no cash on hand to bother with any of this DLC, LOL.
